There's a lot to be excited about when it comes to 2022 SUVs in Duncannon. We expect both Jeep and Dodge to bring some fantastic updates to their lineup of SUVs, and we want to make sure you know all about these changes so that you can stay up to date and informed. If you're just about ready for a new SUV, you can be ready to pick up a 2022 model at Forrer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram as soon as they arrive.

The 2022 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer

These two upcoming SUVs are a revival of the Wagoneer that helped coin the term "luxury SUV." Both the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer sport a variety of incredible luxury features like leather upholstery, an available 75 inches of infotainment screens for both the front and rear seats and an available Mcintosh® premium audio system.

The Grand Wagoneer isn't grander than the Wagoneer by being larger. Instead, it offers a grander, more luxurious experience. You'll find a more elegant grille, chrome accents and premium LED lighting on the Grand Wagoneer and not the Wagoneer. You can also get a more powerful engine, with the Grand Wagoneer sporting a 6.4-liter V8 versus the Wagoneer's 5.7-liter engine, giving it about 80 additional horsepower and 50 more pound-feet of torque.

The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The three-row variant of this SUV, the 2021 Grand Cherokee L, was the first of the new generation of Grand Cherokee models. For 2022, the regular Grand Cherokee joins the new generation with all the same excellent enhancements, besides the third row of seating, but including adjustments to the grille design and proportions, as well as additional air intakes. You'll also find a redesigned interior with larger infotainment and digital cluster displays available and a more modern feel all-around.

The new Grand Cherokee will also be coming with a 4xe model. Like the Wrangler 4xe, it will be a plug-in hybrid. We don't know whether it will use the same combined-375-horsepower hybrid powertrain as the Wrangler, but we're excited to find out closer to its release.

The 2022 Jeep Compass

Jeep is giving the 2022 Compass several updates to keep it competitive for the new year. The infotainment system has been updated to use the latest Uconnect® system, as well as a larger available tablet-style touchscreen display. The front fascia has also been updated to give it a more premium look.

You'll also be able to pick up the new Latitude Lux trim, which includes standard all-wheel drive, leather upholstery and an improved infotainment system. We won't be surprised if Jeep announces a 4xe variant, but none has been announced so far.

The 2022 Dodge Durango

We don't know much about what this SUV will bring to the 2022 model year, but we expect it won't be long before it uses the new Uconnect® 5 infotainment system across every trim, which already comes with the Durango's 10.1-inch display. This would allow every trim of the Durango to utilize wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, as well as Amazon Alexa.

A new generation of the Durango should be expected in the next year or two, and we can only dream of what amazing new features Dodge might bring to this SUV. It should be noted, however, that the 707-horsepower SRT Hellcat powertrain will only be available on the 2021 model year, so if you like the sound of that much power at your fingertips, you'll want to pick one up before it's too late.

We'll Be Sure to Keep You Updated About These and More 2022 Models
